A Pennsylvania-born songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Eric Lee has toured internationally and locally for nearly twenty years. His album, Heartache Town (2018), reached #26 most-played album in National Folk Radio Charts in 2019, and features the exquisite supporting talents of vocalist Tracy Grammer and five-time IBMA Mandolinist of the Year, Jesse Brock. He has appeared onstage with acts including The Gibson Brothers, The Kennedys, Peter Rowan, and songwriting legend Eric Andersen, and was a member of the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival's house band for fifteen years. Lee performs with his bluegrass band, Poor Monroe, which has achieved notable success in the northeast, having appeared at the Grey Fox Bluegrass festival, Green River Festival, the Back Porch Fest, and Podunk Bluegrass, and have recently released their first self-produced, full-length album, Poor Monroe. He currently lives in Easthampton, where he teaches violin, mandolin, and guitar, and runs a monthly Bluegrass Workshop at the Parlor Room's School of Music.
