DESCRIPTION:Olive Benito is a musical theater performer and Klezmer vocalist\, studying Yiddish language and Ethnomusicology at Mount Holyoke College and through the Yiddish Book Center. She is excited to share some lively Yiddish folk songs with the South Hadley community. With translations and transliterated lyrics available\, the audience will be invited to learn a few verses and sing along! This performance will be suitable for all ages\, and no knowledge of the Yiddish language will be required for participation.

DESCRIPTION:Members of the South Hadley community and beyond are invited to join the Mount Holyoke College Astronomy Department for an open house! The event is held at 9:00pm-11:00pm at Williston Observatory on Jewett Lane in South Hadley\, across the street from the main gates of MHC campus. This event will be held rain or shine. \nTour the oldest operational building on campus and enjoy a chance to look through a variety of telescopes\, including the 19th century Clark telescope and our brand new Unistellar eVscope 2s\, to see your favorite celestial objects!
